Beaver Creek 26th January 31 400 Great snow and a great day's skiing.  Bit of a slow start but then picked up the pace to finish with over 30,000 feet. Vail tomorrow.
Vail 27th January 33 643 Great day's skiing on some beautiful snow especially in the morning on some superbly groomed runs.  Longish day, but one on which we managed to exceed our target.  More tomorrow required at Copper.

Copper Mountain

28th January 31 600 Difficult day in some very cold weather and powder snow; managed to ski some good fast runs towards the end of the day to boost the total.  Tricky stuff.  Another casualty too.
Keystone 29th January 47 010 What a day!  Blue skies, great pistes, wonderful snow and some very fast skiing.  In touching distance of the goal. Downside: yet another casualty.
Winter Park 30th January 24 700 Very cold day with heavy, falling snow all day.  Pistes were a bit chopped up which made big totals hard to get. However, managed to pass through the 150,000 target.
Breckenridge 31st January 34 130 Very cold day again but with bright blue skies. Great snow and wonderful groomed slopes.  Met a couple of RAF chaps I knew in a restaurant - small world!  Plugged on to pass 200,000 which we did with about 10 minutes to spare.
